Project Status
Project commencement was gazetted on 3 June 2016.
The Secretary for Development (SDEV) has considered the project and the related information and authorized the URA to proceed with the project without any amendment on 22 February 2017. The SDEV's decision was published in the Gazette on 3 March 2017.
Land of the project has been reverted to the Government.
Demolition work of existing buildings were completed. This project was combined with DL-8:KC for re-development.
Construction works in progress.
Project Programme
Targeted completion by 2026/2027.
More Information
The project is implemented in accordance with the "Urban Renewal Strategy" ("URS") (2011) which includes the flat-for-flat options as an alternative option to cash compensation to domestic owner-occupiers. They can consider cash compensation or using it to buy a new flat-for-flat in-situ in the new development or in the same district or in Kai Tak development.
