Project Status
Project commencement was gazetted on 16 March 2018. The Secretary for Development (SDEV) has considered the project and the related information and authorized the URA to proceed with the project on 19 November 2018. The SDEV’s decision was first published in the Gazette on 23 November 2018.

Targeted completion by 2026/2027.

Proposed Redevelopment
The URA's initial proposal is to redevelop the project to provide small to medium sized residential units and commercial / retail podium at the lower floors. Targeted completion by 2026/2027.
More Information
The Project is implemented in accordance with the “Urban Renewal Strategy” (“URS”) (2011) which includes the flat-for-flat options as an alternative option to cash compensation. Domestic owner-occupiers can opt for cash compensation or using it to buy a new flat-for-flat in-situ in the new development or in Kai Tak development.
