Urban Renewal: Act Early, Better Quality - Owners' Cooperation Promotes Good Building Condition

Introduction

With the problem of ageing buildings aggravating, redevelopment alone is not enough to address the issue.  Extending the service life of buildings is crucial.  In light of this, the URA has launched a light-hearted TV series in collaboration with TVB in January 2025.  The series presents the root causes of ageing buildings and offers guidance for property owners on building rehabilitation and preventive maintenance.  It consists of 15 episodes, each addressing an owner’s concerns, responsibilities, and best practices for conducting building maintenance.
