URA to issue acquisition offers to Oak Street/Ivy Street project
The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) will soon issue acquisition offers to property owners affected by the Oak Street/Ivy Street Development Project (Oak Street Project) in Tai Kok Tsui. Eligible owner-occupiers of domestic properties of the Oak Street Project will be offered $18,023 per square foot of saleable area which is the unit rate of a notional replacement flat of seven years old situated in the same locality (“Notional Unit Rate”). The Notional Unit Rate is approved by the Land, Rehousing and Compensation Committee (LRCC) of the URA Board today (Monday). URA’s Oak Street/Ivy Street project: Authorisation by the Secretary for Development
The Secretary for Development (SDEV) has authorised the Urban Renewal Authority (URA) to proceed with the Oak Street/Ivy Street redevelopment project in Tai Kok Tsui, which is published in the Gazette today (Friday). Commenced earlier on 16 March, the project was implemented by way of a development project in accordance with the Urban Renewal Authority Ordinance (URAO), and had received no objection during the following two-month publication period. On 15 August 2018, the URA had submitted, according to the URAO, the project as well as URA’s assessment on the likely effect of the project to SDEV for consideration. URA publishes tender amounts of unsuccessful submissions for Castle Peak Road/Un Chau Street Development Project
The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) today (Thursday) published on an anonymous basis the tender amounts offered by the unsuccessful but conforming tenderers in the tender for the Castle Peak Road/Un Chau Street Development Project (the Project) in Sham Shui Po. The URA commenced the tender exercise of the Project earlier and a total of 17 tenders were received when the tender closed on 5 October 2018. After careful deliberation by the URA Board, the URA awarded the tender of the Project to Avion Investment Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Henderson Land Development Company Limited, on 23 October 2018. Henderson Land Development Company Limited wins development contract of URA’s Castle Peak Road/Un Chau Street Development Project
The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) today (Tuesday) announced that the contract for the development of Castle Peak Road/Un Chau Street Development Project (the Project) in Sham Shui Po has been awarded to Avion Investment Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Henderson Land Development Company Limited. The tender amount offered by Avion Investment Limited is HK$1,368.2 million, which is the highest among the tender submissions received by the URA for this project. The URA earlier invited 37 property developers to submit tenders for the Project following an expression of interest exercise. URA supports Government’s initiatives to enhance safety condition of aged lifts and to facilitate redevelopment of buildings under the Civil Servants’ Co-operative Building Society Scheme
In response to the announcement made by the Chief Executive in the 2018 Policy Address today (Wednesday) on the launch of the “Lift Modernisation Subsidy Scheme” (LIMSS) for aged lifts, and the initiative to establish a mechanism to facilitate the redevelopment of buildings under the Civil Servants’ Co-operative Building Society Scheme (CBS), a spokesman for the Urban Renewal Authority (URA) said the URA welcomes the Government’s new initiatives with full support. 17 tenders received for development of URA’s Castle Peak Road/Un Chau Street Development Project
The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) received a total of 17 tenders for the Castle Peak Road/Un Chau Street Development Project (the Project) in Sham Shui Po when the invitation for submission of tender closed today (Friday). A tender review panel (TRP) under the URA Board will consider the tenders received and make recommendation to the URA Board for its decision on the award of the development of the Project. The URA earlier invited interested developers to submit Expressions of Interest for the Project. URA issues special offers to occupiers of unauthorised building structures in Kwun Tong Town Centre Project
In consideration of the special circumstances of the unauthorised building structures (UBTs) on the private land in Development Area 5 of the Kwun Tong Town Centre Project (the Project), the Urban Renewal Authority (URA) today (Friday) introduced to the Kwun Tong Development and Renewal Task Force of Kwun Tong District Council the special offer package (the Package) formulated for the UBT occupiers. Invitation to Tender for Development of URA’s Castle Peak Road/Un Chau Street Development Project
The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) today (Friday) invites a total of 37 property developers to tender for the development of the Castle Peak Road/Un Chau Street Development Project (the Project) in Sham Shui Po. The URA will provide the relevant tender documents to the invited property developers, based on which they can submit tenders for the development. All tender submissions should reach the URA Headquarters at 26/F COSCO Tower, 183 Queen’s Road Central, by 12:00 noon on 5 October 2018 (Friday). URA joins hands with Government departments to help operators affected by Graham Street fire incident rebuild and repair stalls
With regard to the fire incident which took place at the Graham Market in Central a few days ago, the Urban Renewal Authority (URA) together with the relevant Government departments have been in close contact with the affected stall operators in the past few days to understand the situation and their needs, with an aim to offer corresponding compassionate assistance and help them resume their business as soon as possible. Following the fire at Graham Street which broke out in the early hours of 15 August 2018, URA representatives went to the market in the morning on the same day to reach out to the stall operators to learn about their worries and concerns. 37 Expressions of Interest received for URA’s Castle Peak Road/Un Chau Street Development Project
The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) received a total of 37 Expressions of Interest for the development of the Castle Peak Road/Un Chau Street Development Project (the Project) in Sham Shui Po when the invitation for submission of Expressions of Interest closed today (Thursday). A tender review panel under the URA Board will shortlist the qualified developers from the submissions, taking into consideration their development experience and financial capability to undertake the development in accordance with the shortlisting criteria set by the tender review panel.
