Invitation for Expressions of Interest for Development of Hai Tan Street demand-led project in Sham Shui Po
The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) will invite interested developers to submit Expressions of Interest for the development of the Nos. 205 - 211A Hai Tan Street demand-led redevelopment project in Sham Shui Po tomorrow (Thursday). The project is one of the demand-led redevelopment projects under the first round of the pilot scheme and the site covers an area of about 423 square metres. Upon completion, it is planned to provide about 69 residential units with a total residential gross floor area of about 3,170 square metres and 396 square metres of commercial gross floor area. Lai Sun Development Company Limited wins development contract of URA’s Sai Wan Ho Street Project in Shau Kei Wan
The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) today (Tuesday) announced that Kingland Century Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lai Sun Development Company Limited, has won the contract for the development of Sai Wan Ho Street Project in Shau Kei Wan. The URA earlier invited a number of pre-qualified property developers to submit a tender for the project. The URA received a total of 16 tender offers when the tender closed. After careful deliberation, the URA Board considered that the tender offer made by Lai Sun Development Company Limited has met the tender requirements of the project and thus decided to award the development contract to Lai Sun Development Company Limited. 77 applications received for 4th round of demand-led redevelopment project (pilot scheme)
The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) announced that 77 applications have been received for the fourth round of the demand-led redevelopment project (pilot scheme) by 5 pm today (Wednesday). A spokesman for the URA said: "The demand-led redevelopment project (pilot scheme) has been well received among property owners since its launch in 2011. Drawing on the experience from the last three rounds, the URA has made revisions to the pilot scheme in order to enhance the success rate of the scheme and the planning gain to the community. 16 Tenders Received for URA’s Sai Wan Ho Street Project in Shau Kei Wan
The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) today (Tuesday) announced that a total of 16 tender offers have been received for the Sai Wan Ho Street Project in Shau Kei Wan. A tender review panel will consider the tenders received and make recommendation to the URA Board for a decision on the award of a development agreement. Earlier, the URA invited 38 property developers to tender for the project after their submissions of expression of interest. The project site covers an area of about 710 square metres. Upon completion, it is planned to provide about 120 residential units with a total residential gross floor area of about 5,360 square metres and 600 square metres of commercial gross floor area. Property acquisition for Ash Street demand-led redevelopment project to start soon
The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) will soon issue conditional acquisition offers to property owners affected by the Ash Street demand-led redevelopment project in Tai Kok Tsui following its commencement in May 2015. It is the fourth and last demand-led redevelopment project in the third round pilot scheme. Eligible owner-occupiers of domestic properties of Nos. 5-13 Ash Street (odd number) will be offered $13,614 per square foot of saleable area which is equivalent to the unit rate of a notional replacement flat of seven-year-old situated in similar locality and of similar size. Invitation to Tender for Development of Sai Wan Ho Street Project in Shau Kei Wan
The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) today (Monday) invited a total of 38 property developers to tender for the development of Sai Wan Ho Street Project in Shau Kei Wan. Following the expression of interest exercise closed on 8 July 2015, a tender review panel under the URA Board has decided to invite 38 qualified property developers to tender for the project (full list below), after taking into consideration their experience and financial strength to undertake the development in accordance with the requirements and criteria set by the Authority. URA’s Hang On Street Demand-led Redevelopment Project: Authorisation by the Secretary for Development
The Secretary for Development (SDEV) has authorised the Urban Renewal Authority (URA) to proceed with a demand-led redevelopment project at Nos. 12 - 30 Hang On Street (even number) in Kwun Tong, which was published in the Gazette today (Friday). The project was implemented by way of a development project in accordance with the URAO. The project was commenced on 7 November 2014, followed by a two-month publication period, during which written objections were received. The URA had deliberated on the objections and submitted the project to SDEV for consideration on 30 March 2015 in accordance with the URAO. 20 Tenders Received for URA’s Pak Tai Street/San Shan Road Project in Ma Tau Kok
The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) today (Tuesday) announced that a total of 20 tender offers have been received for the Pak Tai Street/San Shan Road Project in Ma Tau Kok. A tender review panel will consider the tenders received and make recommendation to the URA Board for a decision on the award of a development agreement. Earlier, the URA invited 32 property developers to tender for the project after their submissions of expression of interest. The project site covers an area of about 1,087 square metres. Upon completion, it is planned to provide about 160 residential units with a total residential gross floor area of about 8,152 square metres and 1,631 square metres of commercial gross floor area. Applications open for 4th round of demand-led redevelopment projects
The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) is inviting applications for the fourth round of projects under its pilot demand-led redevelopment scheme as from today (Thursday) until 9 September 2015. Speaking at a media briefing today, Director (Planning and Design) of the URA, Mr Michael Ma, said: "The demand-led redevelopment model is one of the key initiatives set out in the Urban Renewal Strategy promulgated in 2011, enabling the URA to take a more diverse approach in redevelopment in order to speed up the pace of urban renewal; as well as providing an opportunity for owners to initiate redevelopment of their own properties."
