ITC Properties Group Limited wins development contract of URA’s Hai Tan Street Demand-led Project in Sham Shui Po
The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) today (Tuesday) announced that Assets Island Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of ITC Properties Group Limited, has won the contract for the development of Nos. 205 - 211A Hai Tan Street demand-led redevelopment project in Sham Shui Po. The URA earlier invited a number of pre-qualified property developers to submit a tender for the project. The URA received a total of eight tender offers when the tender closed. After careful deliberation, the URA Board considered that the tender offer made by ITC Properties Group Limited has met the tender requirements of the project and thus decided to award the development contract to ITC Properties Group Limited. Kai Tak Flat-For-Flat pilot scheme draws lots for flat selection
The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) today (Thursday) draws lots to determine the sequence for flat selection and makes purchase arrangement for four property owners affected by its redevelopment projects who had previously opted for the Kai Tak Flat-For-Flat (FFF) scheme. All of the four property owners selected to buy studio flats in the same floor zone. The remaining four property owners will not undergo the balloting procedure as each of them selected different flat sizes in different floor zones in the Kai Tak development. URA to invite participating owners of Kai Tak Flat-For-Flat pilot scheme for flat selection and purchase
The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) today (9 December) will issue letters to eight property owners affected by its redevelopment projects who had previously opted for the Flat-For-Flat (FFF) scheme at the URA's development at Kai Tak, notifying them of the procedure for flat selection and purchase which will take place on 17 and 18 December. A total of 47 flats had been reserved by the URA in the Kai Tak development for the selection by the eight property owners. 8 Tenders Received for Hai Tan Street Demand-led Project in Sham Shui Po
The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) today (Tuesday) announced that a total of eight tender offers have been received for Nos. 205 - 211A Hai Tan Street demand-led redevelopment project in Sham Shui Po. A tender review panel will consider the tenders received and make recommendation to the URA Board for a decision on the award of a development agreement. Earlier, the URA invited 22 property developers to tender for the project after their submissions of expression of interest. The project site covers an area of about 423 square metres. Upon completion, it is planned to provide about 69 residential units with a total residential gross floor area of about 3,170 square metres and 396 square metres of commercial gross floor area. Invitation to Tender for Development of Kowloon City Road/Sheung Heung Road Project in Ma Tau Kok
The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) today (Monday) invited a total of 29 property developers to tender for the development of Kowloon City Road/Sheung Heung Road Project in Ma Tau Kok. Following the expression of interest exercise closed on 17 November 2015, a tender review panel under the URA Board has decided to invite 29 qualified property developers to tender for the project (full list at annex), after taking into consideration their experience and financial strength to undertake the development in accordance with the requirements and criteria set by the Authority. URA Board approves application requirements of Subsidised Sale Flat Scheme
The Board of the Urban Renewal Authority (URA) today (Tuesday) held a special meeting to discuss the Management's proposal on the eligibility requirements for the Subsidised Sale Flat (SSF) Scheme at the URA's development at Kai Tak and consider further legal advice in relation to the scheme. After taking into consideration of the potential legal risks that may arise and the public aspirations for housing needs, the URA Board approved the following terms: the inclusion of single person household applicants; an income limit of $33,500 per month and an asset limit of $1.5 million to be applicable for single person household applicants; and the total household income and net asset value limits for two-person or above households remain unchanged at HK$60,000 per month and HK$3 million re

URA's response to media enquiries
In response to media enquiries concerning the subsidised-sale flat (SSF) scheme to be provided by the Urban Renewal Authority (URA) at the Kai Tak development, a spokesman for the URA said: A report was made today to the URA Board about the decision to accept applications from single-person households for the URA's SSF scheme at the Kai Tak development in response to the housing need of single-person households. Both single-person households and two-person or above households are eligible for applying the URA's SSF scheme at the Kai Tak development. The total monthly household income and net asset value of the applicants must not exceed HK$60,000 and HK$3 million respectively. 30 Expressions of Interest received for Development of Kowloon City Road/Sheung Heung Road Project in Ma Tau Kok
The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) received a total of 30 Expressions of Interest for the development of the Kowloon City Road/Sheung Heung Road Project in Ma Tau Kok when the invitation for submission closed today (Tuesday). A tender review panel under the URA Board will shortlist qualified developers and invite them to submit tenders for the development project soon. The project site covers an area of about 1,384 square metres. Upon completion, it is planned to provide about 216 residential units with a total residential gross floor area of about 10,380 square metres and 2,076 square metres of commercial gross floor area. The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) will invite interested developers to submit Expressions of Interest for the development of the Kowloon City Road/Sheung Heung Road in Ma Tau Kok tomorrow (Thursday). The project site covers an area of about 1,384 square metres. Upon completion, it is planned to provide about 216 residential units with a total residential gross floor area of about 10,380 square metres and 2,076 square metres of commercial gross floor area. Developers interested in the development are requested to substantiate their development experience and financial capability to undertake the development in accordance with the requirements and criteria set by the URA.
