Invitation for Expressions of Interest for Development of Fuk Wing Street Project in Sham Shui Po
The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) will invite interested developers to submit Expressions of Interest for the development of Fuk Wing Street project in Sham Shui Po beginning next Monday (29 December 2014). The project covers a site area of about 596 square metres, abutting Fuk Wing Street between Castle Peak Road and Cheung Wah Street. Upon completion, it is planned to deliver about 90 residential units with a total residential gross floor area of about 4,471 square metres and 559 square metres of commercial gross floor area. Cheung Kong (Holdings) Ltd and Far East Consortium International Limited winning development contracts of two URA projects in Sham Shui Po
The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) Board today (Monday) announced that Swiss Investments Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cheung Kong (Holdings) Ltd, has won the contract for the development of Hai Tan Street/Kweilin Street & Pei Ho Street project. The URA also decided to award the contract for the development of Nos. 229A - G Hai Tan Street demand-led project to Cheong Sing Property Development Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Far East Consortium International Limited. A total of 11 tender offers received for two URA projects in Sham Shui Po
The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) today (Monday) announced that nine tender offers have been received for the Hai Tan Street/Kweilin Street & Pei Ho Street project and two tender offers for Nos. 229A - G Hai Tan Street demand-led project. A tender review panel will consider the tenders received and make recommendation to the URA Board for a decision on the award of two separate development agreements in respect of these two projects. URA announces revisions to demand-led redevelopment projects pilot scheme and facilitating services pilot scheme
The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) today (Friday) announced the revisions to the pilot schemes of its demand-led redevelopment project and facilitating services following the decision of the URA Board earlier. The demand-led redevelopment project and facilitating services pilot schemes were among the key initiatives set out in the 2011 Urban Renewal Strategy which enables the URA to take a more diverse approach in redevelopment to speed up the pace of urban renewal. URA welcomes appointments to the Board
The Chairman of the Urban Renewal Authority (URA), Mr Victor So Hing-woh, today (Friday) welcomed the appointment of four new non-executive directors (non-official) and re-appointment of four non-executive directors (non-official) to the URA Board by the Government. The four newly-appointed non-executive directors are Legislative Council members Alice Mak Mei-kuen and Wu Chi-wai, Dr Gregg Li and Dr Lawrence Poon Wing-cheung. Legislative Council member Dennis Kwok Wing-hang, Mr Philip Kan Siu-lun, Mr Daniel Lam Chun and Dr Billy Mak Sui-choi have also been re-appointed as non-executive directors of the URA Board. Invitation to tender for development of two URA projects in Sham Shui Po
The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) today (Monday) invited 23 property developers to tender for the development of the Hai Tan Street/Kweilin Street & Pei Ho Street project and 25 property developers for the development of Nos. 229A - G Hai Tan Street demand-led project. Following the expression of interest exercises for the two projects which were closed on 31 October 2014, a tender review panel under the URA Board has decided to invite the qualified property developers to tender for the respective projects (full lists at annexes 1 & 2), after taking into consideration their experience and financial strength to undertake the developments in accordance with the requirements and criteria set by the Authority. URA commences third redevelopment project in the third round of demand-led pilot scheme
The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) today (Friday) announced the commencement of the third demand-led redevelopment project under the third round of the pilot scheme at Nos. 12-30 Hang On Street (even number) in Kwun Tong. It is also the tenth demand-led project commenced by the URA since the introduction of the demand-led pilot scheme in 2011. The project covers a gross site area of about 865 square metres. It comprises a single nine-storeyed building covering 10 street numbers. The building was built in 1963 and is in poor or varied conditions with unauthorized building structures and subdivided units. A Total of 52 Expressions of Interest received for Two URA Projects in Sham Shui Po
The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) received 25 Expression of Interest (EOI) submissions for Hai Tan Street/Kweilin Street & Pei Ho Street project and 27 EOI submissions for Nos. 229A - G Hai Tan Street demand-led project when the invitations for submissions closed today (Friday). A tender review panel under the URA Board will shortlist qualified developers and invite them to submit tenders for the respective projects. The tender exercise will take place very soon. URA’s To Kwa Wan Road demand-led project aborted as 80% acceptance threshold could not be met
The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) announced that it would not proceed with a demand-led project located at Nos. 68A to 70C To Kwa Wan Road (even number) as a key condition requiring the acceptance of URA's conditional offers with execution of the Conditional Sale and Purchase Agreements by owners of no less than 80 percent of the undivided shares of each lot in the project site within 75-day offer period expiring today (Monday) could not be attained. The To Kwa Wan Road project is the second project commenced under the third round of the Demand-led Redevelopment Project (Pilot Scheme).
