Invitation for Responses to Request for Information for Central Oasis Project

The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) today (Monday) invited interested parties to respond to request for information for the Central Oasis project.

Information collected will be used to facilitate the future invitation for Expression of Interest (EOI) for the project.  Relevant ideas and comments received from the business sector will also assist URA in formulating the business structure for the future operation of the project.

The Central Oasis project aims to revitalize the former Central Market building as well as providing greenery, a public rest and leisure area and other uses in Central to serve the public community at large.

Interested parties are invited to submit their written responses to the URA by completing the proforma contained in the Request for Information Brochure for the project, which can be obtained upon request at the URA's office or downloaded from http://www.centraloasis.org.hk/eng/rfi.aspx.

Written responses should be made to the URA Headquarters at 26/F, Cosco Tower, 183 Queen's Road Central, Hong Kong on or before Thursday, 16 February 2012.
