Green Buildings: Building an Environmentally Sustainable Future

The URA has formulated a comprehensive policy on environmental sustainability, covering six main environmental provisions, which are adopted by its development projects, with an aim to fostering a quality living environment and contributing to an environmentally sustainable future for Hong Kong. By March 2017, a total of 14 development projects of URA have achieved the Hong Kong BEAM Platinum rating for their sustainable building design.

Smart Building: A Smart Living

In addition to building green buildings of high environmental standards, the URA advocates the smart concept in the design, environment, information, management and convenience aspects in order to create a smart living.  Its development will be constructed in compliance with the smart provisions in respect of home energy and water consumption system, home health and wellness system, smart display, home waste management system, building information modelling, and building management system.
