Invitation for Expressions of Interest for Development of URA’s Fuk Chak Street/Li Tak Street Demand-led Redevelopment Project
The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) will invite interested developers to submit Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the development of the Fuk Chak Street/Li Tak Street demand-led redevelopment project in Tai Kok Tsui tomorrow (Wednesday).
The project site, which covers an area of 768 square metres, was commenced in June 2013 under the second round of the URA's Demand-led Redevelopment Projects (Pilot Scheme). It is tentatively scheduled for completion by 2020/2021, upon which it is planned to provide about 96 residential units with a total residential gross floor area of about 5,103 square metres and 637 square metres of commercial gross floor area.
Information about the submission of the EOI for the project site will be available at the URA's website (www.urg.org.hk) and published in some local newspapers tomorrow. The Invitation Brochure for the project can be obtained upon request from the URA's Headquarters. Developers interested in the development are requested to submit the duly completed and signed Reply Form, together with the required information to substantiate their development experience and financial capability to undertake the development in accordance with the requirements and criteria set by the URA. All EOI should be submitted to the URA Headquarters at 26/F COSCO Tower, 183 Queen's Road Central, by 12:00 noon on 20 March 2017 (Monday). Any submission of the EOI received after the specified closing time mentioned above will not be accepted.
A tender review panel under the URA Board will shortlist qualified companies and invite them to submit tenders for the development later.
